These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Second Life Software LLC website and application. By using our services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. Services
Second Life Software provides software-development services and an access-controlled application with budgeting, debt-tracking, reporting, and notification features. App information is provided for organizational purposes and is not financial, tax, legal, or investment advice.
2. Accounts and acceptable use
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for activity under it. You may not misuse the services, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with operation, or use the services unlawfully.
3. SMS messaging program
Program name: Second Life Software Account & Debt Reminders.
Recipients opt in by giving direct verbal consent to an authorized Second Life Software administrator before their mobile number is added to the access-controlled notification settings. The administrator confirms that the recipient wants recurring automated messages from Second Life Software at the number provided. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any product or service.
Messages may include account and debt-payment reminders, due-date and payment-status follow-ups, balance-update prompts, weekly progress or motivation messages, and responses to messages the recipient sends. Message frequency varies according to the reminders enabled and the number of accounts being tracked. Message and data rates may apply.

- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

4. Third-party services
Some features depend on third-party providers, including Plaid, Google, Render, Twilio, Resend, and OpenAI. Their services may be subject to separate terms and availability.
5. Availability and disclaimers
We work to keep the services accurate and available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or that account data, reminders, or estimates will always be complete or error-free. You remain responsible for verifying payment obligations directly with each creditor or financial institution.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Second Life Software will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the services. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
7. Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version and effective date on this page. Continued use after the revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the changes.
